Robert John LaVanture, age 58, passed away on Wednesday August 20th, 2025.  Bob was born on January 26th, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Linda (Mikowski) LaVanture, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Beth Cudworth in 1992 and together they raised their two beautiful daughters Sarah and Heather in Howell, Michigan. 

Bob was known for his larger-than-life personality, positive outlook, kindheartedness, love for family and conversation. Fall was his favorite season as his passions included University of Michigan and Lions football. Pardee Lake was his paradise and he was happiest creating memories there - of which there were many.

Bob is survived by his wife Beth, daughters Sarah LaVanture (Kyle van Veen) and Heather LaVanture; siblings William (Donna) LaVanture and Laura (Richard) Fairchild.  He will be greatly missed by his large family, friends and neighbors.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at home on Sunday, September 14th beginning at 11am.  The Lions game will be on and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite football attire.  Please bring only your appetites and fondest memories to share of Bob.
