Jeffrey ‘Jeff’ Allen Farmer died unexpectedly at his residence in the early morning of December 8, 2025. Jeff was born on December 18, 1967, making him only 57 at the time of his death. His family is deeply saddened and shocked at his unexpected passing.

Jeff is proceeded in death by his mother, Judith Farmer. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Nunley, and Alicia (Jacob) McKinney; his father and stepmother, John (Vicki) Farmer; his brother, John Farmer; his sister and brother-in-law, Trenna (Andy) Widmayer; his significant other, Deborah ‘Deb’ Boerner-Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jeff was born in Livonia, Michigan. His family moved to Howell, Michigan, in 1977, where he attended Hartland High School, graduating in 1986. Following graduation, he began his lifelong career of drywalling, a craft in which he took much pride.

An avid enjoyer of classic rock, Jeff spent many summer evenings at music venues, making sure to always take home a concert tee to sport after the fact. If he was not attending a concert, he often spent his free time surrounded by longtime friends, sharing laughs, and maybe a beer or two, reminiscing about the past. One of his life passions was mud bogging, for which much of his free time was focused on during the spring and summer.

Jeff was a loving father and a fiercely loyal friend. He always stood up for what he believed in, and did everything with honesty and integrity. He saw the best in those around him, and graciously offered his aid to those he loved, even if it meant he went without. His character is reflected by the respect, admiration, and love that he had garnered over the years. Those who have known or loved Jeff are familiar with his unique spirit, the loss of which will leave behind an enormous hole in all our hearts that cannot be filled.

The legacy he leaves us with is one of tenacity, joviality, resilience, and love. Though Jeff’s presence will be dearly missed, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will follow at a date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider contributing to his GoFundMe campaign linked below.
